Sp. Asdvadzadzin of Hajun - The town of Hajun, now Saimbeyli, was once home to six Armenian churches. Sp. Asdvadzadzin was the oldest and was situated inside the fortress. The church occupied most of the fortress structure and was reportedly built in the 15th century. It was destroyed and rebuilt a number of times before being finally destroyed in 1915. The fortress has undergone a recent restoration, which I did not have time to closely observe. Adjacent to the church was a girls' school and most of the pictures are of the remains of this structure. The photographs were taken in March 2015.
